again the gum problem

today i woke up very restless and tired as i could not sleep properly last night. throughout the night my body was aching. the pain felt as it was deep down in my bones.

 

my gums are also making it very hard for me to have my meals properly. i took only two meals instead of my normal three as had alot of diffculty in eating coz of gums.

becoz of chemo that was given i had lost my appetite now i feel like eating a little bit i cant becoz of my gums. 

 

today my cousin went to the embassy to give them the documents that they had asked for. most probably we will get them back on wed. only then we go to america and get our treatment started. i just want to get back to normal as soon as possible.

gum problems

day by day sometimes i feel like im getting more and more weak. i feel as i have very little amount of energy in me. i now sometimes feel that even the medicine is not woking anymore.

 

as the count of cancer cells has increased i have to take medicine called HYDROXY UREA to prevent them from increasing them any more. the side effect of the medicine is that my gums get all swollen and the worse part is that there is exactly no medicine to decrease the swelling. i have alot of pain in my gums. its becoming hard to eat.

 

alot of things give me strenght to face and pass all that im going through.

feeling to tired

today i got my CBC done. its called complete blood count. it showed that cancer cells were 90%. neurophils which fight infection were very little around 3-4% so chances of infection were very high.

nows days i feel very weak and get tired very easly. it has been some time since i have done any orkuting with my friends. i feel just to tired to do anything. since my diagnosis i have lost around 27kgs.

took my medcines and meals as in my normal routine.

day of comfort

today was a very comfortable day as compared to the days that i have gone through for a while. got up in the morning with no body ach. had my meals properly. for the last two days i had been waiting for some documents from MD ANDERSON TEXAS and today i got them. we have to take them to the american embassy to get our visa. alot of family members came home today i could not meet them but talked to them behind the door as they were not allowed to come in my room coz i could early catch an infection from them. they gave me alot of strength and support.

miss my friends

got very tired yesterday and came home very late from the hospital so was unable to write.

i got 1 unit of blood transfused along with 1 unit of platelets yesterday and they took my whole day. chemo gets rid of the blast cells but it gets rid of RBCs and platelets along with the WBCs.

 

today after so many days i had a goodnites sleep.( i missed being at home.) but after waking up i again had alot of pain in my neck. i thought maybe the infection was going to start again. but after taking medicine it was fine (thank god) i didnt want to go back to hospital.

 

as per my normal routine i took my medicine.

also ate my meal properly today.

 

even though im feeling better but i miss going outside and hanging around with my friends.

its been so long since i have seen them. though i did chat with friends today but still its not the same as meeting them. misss them all alooooooooooooootttt.

feeling better

since last night im in the hospital. thanks to magic of medicine im feeling better. my throat is fine and now at least i can drink water with ease. but last night didnt get a wink of sleep. the bed was to small for me and it was so unconfortable. im still in the hospital and hopefully i'll go home tomarrow.

 

i got two small chemos since yesterday with alot of antibiotics. my HB is 7.6 and with chemo its going to decrease more so most likely i'll have to get a blood transfusion tomarrow.

soo much of confusion today

Last night i was very unconfortable and had alot of trouble sleeping and as i woke up today i knew that today was going to be a hard day full of pain and misery.

my throat was aching so badly that it was intorable. with alot of pain i had my tea but was unable to have my wheat grass juice.

 

When we contacted the docs they were not picking up. One was out of town and the other was simply toooooooooooooo busy.

when we did get in contact with them one said go for chemo or else the swelling and pain will not go away but he could not attened me as he was out of town.

The other doc said there was no need of chemo as most probably it was an infection.

Now there was so much confusion as wat to do so called an ENT doc and he said my tonsil was inflamed three times the normal.

 

so now im in Bajwa hospital getting chemo for lymph node inflamation and antibiotics for my tonsils. then only will i be able to eat. though im feeling a bit confortable now.

in the morning was not feeling to good.
started the morning in the usual manner with my wheat grass water ( its suppose to help increase the HB)
then had my milk while chatting with my friend Jaggi.
then went to sleep as there was pain in the neck region.
when called up the doctor he said i should get a FNAC( fine needle aspiration aspiration cytology) done of the swelling. in the test it was found that the swelling was not any swelling but my lymph nodes had become involved with the cancer cell so that was causing them to swell up.
today was a very unconfortable day due to the pain. i could not swallow any thing even my own saliva was causing so much pain. the little bit that i ate was mostly liqiued.

The doc on seeing my report said a chemo is must but as im planning to come to states it is not possible as all my counts will decrease and wont be able to travel. so for the time being as an alternative to chemo im taking HYDROXY UREA CAP.
